Wild Life around Dartmouth

The River Dart and its surroundings support a wealth of wildlife many of which are better viewed from the sea. These pictures were captured during our various fishing trips and will be added to over time.

Seals. The Dart supports a number of Seals and this specimen was caught sunning him or herself on a rock not far from the mouth of the Dart.

 

Dolphins. These tend to be less of the exhibitionist than the seals. The below picture was captured on my camera phone right at the mouth of the Dart!

 

Birds. There is a large variety of bird life to be seen around the dart. Here are a few pictures.
