A rare event indeed when the three of us actually come together in one place. Whilst David our younger brother only lives in Lifton his work keeps him very busy and he cannot get out fishing that often -shame!!!!

It was a sunny Saturday with a light Northerly wind and Karen decided it was now time to take Rolfe the German Shepherd puppy for his first boat trip out of Dartmouth.
Rolfe is now 7 months old and is an all black German Shepherd Dog owned by the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary. Karen had volunteered last year to join their Puppy Walking Scheme and in October last year we took delivery of Rolfe.

It was an overcast day but the wind was from the North and the sea state was slight as we set off from Noss Marina. I had been away for a 3 week cruise to North America and Canada and this was the first chance for me to get across to Mikes and get out on the boat.
